About HCL JIGSAW 5.0

Problem solving and critical thinking has been identified as a key 21st century skill. Various initiatives are being taken by schools and industries to spread awareness among students.

 

HCL Jigsaw – is a-pan India competition, which helps young learners improve their problem-solving skills. It is devised to identify and award India’s Top Young Problem Solvers. Students will learn about the importance of 21st century skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, research, collaboration and communication skill which will help them apply these to solve real-world challenges.

 

It is also an opportunity to be recognized as Top Visionary School In Problem Solving.

 

This year, student registration is FREE. With schools , participating across India, this is an opportunity to showcase  talent at National Level.

 

Please assign a school coordinator, with whom our team can coordinate to enable student participation.

 

Important Details

• Eligibility – All students of Class 6 to 9

• Levels – 03 Levels (details as below) 

• Sample questions, Learning Video, Industry expert video session.

• Mode – All rounds are ONLINE

• Student can attempt using laptop/ desktop/ mobile

• Registration FEE – FREE (all 3 rounds) 

 

Last Date of School Bulk Registration : 15th Jul

 

Last Date of Student Individual Registration :

​31st Jul - For Test slot 2, scheduled on 02nd to 04th Aug

 

About Student Rewards

The total prize purse is Rs.12 Lakhs for winners and finalists.

 

Winners - Top one team, per grade, Nationally.

Awarded with title of “India’s Top Young Problem Solver” & Prize worth Rs.70000.

 

Winner Student will visit  HCL INNOVATION LAB at Bangalore or Chennai and will get learning opportunities. One parent accompanies the student. Travel/Stay/Food cost is borne by HCL JIGSAW.  

 

Runners Up - Two teams per grade, Nationally.

Awarded with an Appreciation Certificate and Prizes worth Rs.15000, each.

 

All participants, of Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 will be given an e-Participation Certificate.

> 30- 49 Test Takers in Round 1- Appreciation e-Certificate to school
